07. Here is a better view from the focus hut door. The building in the foreground is the visitors centre. Well worth a visit.

08. And here is the view down the stairs. One would be very conscious of maintaining a firm grip when negotiating this ladder, you could say it was a white knuckle affair. If you look closely you can see a person on the way down.

09. At the bottom of the stairs, looking across to the tripod leg with the elevator. Over at that leg there is a hatch that leads to a walkway underneath the dish.

10. This walkway goes towards the centre hub of the structure.

11. From the walkway we have a view of the building containing the offices and workshops.

12. Here we are looking back towards the hatch in the dish.
